In partnership with Safety Institute of Australia the 21st Better Work Tasmania networking session offers the following interesting and engaging speakers:
John DeBruyn (Chairman, Tasmanian Transport Association)
John will cover supply chains, chain or responsibility, resources and current TTA projects.
Dr Luke Mirowski (Senior Research Fellow, University of Tasmania) will present findings from extensive research work in the Australian forestry industry including work developing electronic work diaries
Daniel Bongers (Chief Technology Officer- SmartCap Technologies) will cover the benefits of SmartCap technology in providing real time feedback to eliminate fatigue events.
Ferdie Kroon (Risk and Compliance Manager – De Bruyn’s Transport) will cover important aspects of loading and unloading freight safely.
Ayden Demeijer (Area Manager – Rehab Management) will cover common challenges and strategies to drive successful return to work programs for physical and psychological injury claims in the Transport Sector.
Robyn Pearce (Director Industry Safety) will provide an overview of compliance issues.
